What we process, and why

Waitlist. If you join the early-access waitlist, we store the email address you submit, the page variant you saw, the pricing tier you clicked (if any), your referrer URL and a timestamp. We use this solely to contact you about early access and to evaluate interest in this product. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps taken at your request) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in validating product demand). We send one email when early access opens and at most one follow-up question. Replies are handled by an AI agent and are marked as such (EU AI Act, Art. 50).

Analytics. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics service. It processes aggregated usage data (pages visited, referrer, browser type, and the custom events "tier click" and "waitlist signup") without persistent identifiers and without tracking you across sites. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (measuring interest in this product).

Server logs. Our hosting provider processes technical data (IP address, time of request, user agent) in server logs to deliver the site securely. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Email. If you email us, we process your address and message content to answer your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

We use no tracking cookies and no advertising technology.

Processors and recipients

We use the following processors under data processing agreements (Art. 28 GDPR): Vercel Inc. (website hosting), Supabase (waitlist database), Plausible (analytics), and Proton AG / SimpleLogin (email infrastructure). Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, transfers are safeguarded by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). We do not sell or share your data for advertising.

Storage period

Waitlist entries are stored until the validation phase ends and early access has been handled, at most 12 months, unless you ask us to delete them earlier. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short technical retention period.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise any right — including deletion from the waitlist at any time — simply reply to any of our emails or write to hello@info.docwarden.dev. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your residence or workplace (Art. 77 GDPR).

No automated decision-making

No automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place. AI systems assist in operating this project; outgoing AI-generated communication is marked as such.
